Boone County Arrest Records and Warrants, KY – How to Carry Out a Background Search

There are lots of good reasons for tracing Boone County arrest records and carrying out a background check. The rationale is simple: we all want to know with whom we are dealing before it is too late. You have just hired a nurse for your elderly parents or a babysitter for your child; you have a blind date tonight. Would you not want to make sure all these people have a clean record?

Where to Look for Boone County Arrests

The most reliable place to look for arrest records in the county is governmental sources. Begin your background check by visiting the official Jailer website. Here you will find searchable and detailed inmate data, as well as jail information and all relevant contacts.

Searching for KY Arrests

We strongly recommend using the Kentucky Online Offender Lookup (KOOL) database. There, you can manually search for arrest records for all people in the state with just a name. The website also offers visitors information on sentencing options and also outlines the likelihood of each inmate being incarcerated again.

Guidelines for a Warrant Search

Presently, there is no online tool that allows citizens to look for Boone county warrants. However, the sheriff will have the information you need. For immediate assistance, contact the sheriff department directly by calling 859-334-2175, by emailing tscheben@boonecountyky.org, or by simply visiting the office located at 300 Conrad Lane in Burlington.

How to Access Boone County Court Records

Visit the website for the Kentucky Court of Justice. This site gives you pertinent information regarding cases that are currently pending in the county.  However, it will not provide you with any information pertaining to cases that resulted in a conviction. Boone County court records are generated by the AOC’s statewide database, and are retrievable for a menial fee of just $20 per copy. Keep in mind, however, that a criminal records search is based on historical court activity and does not include arrest or driving record information.  You can request court dockets in two ways: online via the AOCFastCheck portal or in person at the Administrative Office of the Court located at 1001 Vandalay Drive in Frankfort.

Tracing Sex Offenders

Visit the Kentucky State Police Sex Offender Registry. There you can conduct your inquiry based on a name or address.  You can even see a neighborhood map to find out if there are any offenders living close to you.
